This page briefly explains what information is processed when you visit dennismeng.dk or contact me.

Who is responsible?

Dennis Meng is the data controller. You can contact me through the contact form.

What information is processed?

  • When you contact me: Your name, email address, subject and message are used to respond and, where relevant, prepare a quotation or agreement. Processing is based on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or on the need to enter into or perform an agreement.
  • When you visit the site: The server may record your IP address, time of access, browser and requested page for operation, troubleshooting and security. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form from spam. Statify counts page views locally without cookies or storing IP addresses. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides general visitor statistics if you consent.

Contacting me is voluntary, but I will normally need your contact details to reply. No automated decision-making or profiling is used.

Who may receive the information?

Providers of web hosting, email and security services may process information on my instructions, including Cloudflare. Information is not sold. If a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, a valid transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards must be used.

How long is information retained?

Ordinary enquiries are normally deleted no later than 12 months after the matter is closed. Information relating to purchases or agreements may be kept longer where required for legal, accounting, documentation or legal-claim purposes. Technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for operation and security.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or data portability and object to processing. Contact me through the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Cookies and your choice

The site does not use marketing cookies. Necessary technologies are used for security and to remember your cookie choice. Statify counts page views without cookies or IP addresses and is therefore not controlled by the banner. Cloudflare Web Analytics is activated only if you choose statistics.

  • Necessary: Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form from spam. The choice dm_consent_v1 is stored locally in your browser for up to six months so the site can remember your setting.
  • Statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free and provides general visitor figures. Its measurement code loads only after your consent.
